The Cracling: UK's Longboarding Event to Feature Slalom, Downhill, Freestyle, Freeride and Slide

Just couple of days to go before the first Hog Hill event of 2015 gets underway. “The Crackling” features downhill Head to Head Hybrid and Giant Slalom racing. The current crop of top British racers along with a few visiting European slalomers will be battling it out for the coveted podium places and prizes. There will also be Downhill Racing, Luge, Freeriding, Slide events and clinics running throughout the weekend hosted and run by DAS Industries and London Longboards.

This year also sees Freestyle making its debut at Hog Hill. You may already be familiar with Rodney Mullen’s mind boggling footwork from the Powell Peralta videos from the 80’s or may have seen some of his more recent footage? Well British Freestyle will be putting on a few demonstrations over the course of the weekend and showing what it’s all about - UK style.

We would love you to come along and enjoy the adrenalin fuelled action up close, speak to riders, meet our sponsors and generally take in “The Stoke”. There is an excellent café in the centre that will be open all weekend to slake thirsts and feed the hungry – food and drink to suit all tastes.
