HIF Agnes Water Surfing Festival presented by Bradnams Windows & Doors begins tomorrow
Agnes Water, Queensland Friday 16th April, 2015 – Competitors from all over Queensland as far as Gold Coast through to Yeppoon are in preparation for this year’s HIF Agnes Water Surfing Festival presented by Bradnam’s Windows & Doors with event officials anticipating great condition at the festivals amphitheatre - Agnes Point.
With Agnes Point forecasting a favourable swell through the event window, and the addition of a third day, the 2015 HIF Agnes Water Surfing festival presented by Bradnams Windows & Doors is shaping up to be the best of its kind yet.
Surfing Queensland spokesman Cory Roberts says, “We’re as proud as we are excited for tomorrow’s event. As part of the Surfing Queensland events calendar, we invest a significant focus towards the Agnes event to give the community, seasoned competitors from all over Queensland as well as friends and family the taste of a professional surfing event in Queensland's central coast region.”
The first of 16 GKA Kite World Tour events begins in Cape Verde this month.
Ten islands make up the archipelago of Cabo Verde which lies two hours south of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, due to their geographical location the islands are frequented with pumping swell and trade winds.
