Canoe Marathon European Championship Returns to Bohinj
Canoe marathon is a spectacular sport discipline and is growing every year. Between 1st and 5th of July the Bohinj lake in Slovenia will host European championship in canoe marathon together with master races. The picturesque basin will once again be vivid with more than 1000 competitors, guests, fans and visitors. Organizers promise to create a splendid championship in all regards with an unforgettable atmosphere to remember. Last year was really good so we are really looking forward for this one!
Kayak and Canoe club Bohinj which is lead by Stane Klemenc is strongest club in Slovenia and together with Tourism Bohinj and Municipality of Bohinj they are upgrading successful experience with a world cup race from last year into a successful story of European championship. There will be lots of exciting races in JUNIOR, U23 and ELITE competitions on several distances in C1,C2 and K1, K2.
